Thanks to the stirling work of John G0FSM (Web master) we now have the ability to update various sections of the website without John being involved. The big benefit of this will be that the Calendar (Activity Schedule) will be updated as soon as changes are known and should result in it being up to date at all times. Graeme G4NVH Chairman
The Societies New Website goes live
August 26th, 2006 15:26
The Stafford And Districts ARS website has been completely redesigned and after testing has gone live. The work has been carried out over the last few weeks since the society moved hosting to a more reliable ISP. The old website, although having served us well, was "flat" in that it could not be edited easily by anyone other than the webmaster (me!). This new site has both a dynamic calendar that can be edited by committee members, but also a news publishing system that can be easily updated. The new site also makes heavy use of CSS for its formatting rather than tables. The site has been coded for Microsofts browsers, although work is continuing to make it cross browser compatible. Enjoy! John G0FSM
